 Triumph tr250, 6 cylinder convertible, Project car about 75% done. Was someones unfinished/failed restoration that I received in a trade...many new parts, floors fenders and small parts. Cars only weak point is a frame that has been patched many times and both side windows are poor. Car runs, not well but I have not tried tuning as it has electronic ignition and I am not a mechanic. It has new high power starter and a number of other new parts like tires brakes etc. Grill and a couple of the rims were new. The asking price is about what I have into it and I would like to get at least that if not I will put it away until I finish my tr4 project. |

 Here is your dream car! Always wanted a car to work on but still be able to drive while doing the work?
Condition overall is good, it has been extremely reliable and runs well but hasn't been driven much lately. It starts like a dream but the brakes need to be done. Electrical and engine rebuild was done about 8 years ago.
Car has some body work in the fenders and was repainted 8 years ago.
Interior is good with restored dash. The driver seat needs work as the foam and supports have had it.
Top is OK but there are some small cuts in it.
Just had it valued at $12,500 for insurance purposes in October of 2011.
We want it out for this summer! |

 A recent full body-off restoration makes this both a great runner and a car that shows very well. There is over $20K invested in new parts, body restoration, rotisserie painting as well as motor and transmission rebuilding with a performance cam added. New stainless steel exhaust system, new interior, alloy wheels and new tires installed plus original rims with new tires included. Electronic ignition and twist-off oil filter have been added. The car is complete with only some additional work on gauges required. An additional rebuilt overdrive transmission with drive-shaft is available but needs an overdrive unit. This is a fine example of the last year of production for the GT6 and will offer many years of driving pleasure as well as showing extremely well. The car is in Oshawa, licensed and ready to roll. |
