August Monthly Meeting Reminder, Thornhill Cruisers Car Show, Monday August 16th 7:00 PM

We have been invited by the Thornhill Cruisers Car Club to Participate in their Monday August 16th evening car show and will also use this event as our August monthly meeting. They have offered to cordon off an area for the TTC to display our vehicles.
The Thornhill Cruisers Car Club have been displaying "special interest vehicles" for the past sixteen years, and have raised over $130,000 for the charities that they support. The TCCC raise money through their 50/50 draws and have NEVER charged admission, and they we never will.
It is a relaxing family atmosphere where you can bring your wife, mother, even your grandmother. A guaranteed evening of enjoyment and reminiscing of the past.

Location of the event is the Bayview Glen Church parking lot, 300 Steeles Avenue East, Thornhill. The event runs from 5:00 Pm to 9:00 PM. Please plan to arrive no later than 7 PM.

After the show, we will cruise down to St Louis Bar and Grill located at 5307 Yonge St, North York for some food and refreshments.

27th Annual British Car Day, Bronte Creek Provincial Park, Sunday September 19

British Car Day is hosted by the Toronto Triumph Club, annually on the third Sunday of September. Since its inaugural event in 1984, it has grown in leaps and bounds, and now draws around 1000 British cars, with room to grow even bigger. The event is the premier all-British car event in North America, with visitors from throughout the northeast United States, the Maritime provinces, Quebec, and Manitoba. We have even had visitors from Alberta, Texas, the U.K., and New Zealand.

As always, to organize and host such an event requires the help and support of all TTC members.
Please volunteer to help out at this years BCD by contacting Bill Alexander at bill.alexander@rogers.com

British Sportscar Leaf Peeping Rally, October 2nd-3rd, Lindsay/Algonquin Park/Bancroft

This rally began as a desire to augment the current event schedule with something that provided many hours of pure driving pleasure for the driver and replace the hours of sitting at a show with hours of pure shopping and sightseeing pleasure for our passengers.

The inaugural event was held in 2009 with only two Triumph TR6's and with four people in attendance, but despite the small numbers the rally proved to be everything all of us could hope for, it made everyone happy and yes, the original four are going again!

Besides, what better way to enjoy the beauty that an Ontario autumn has to offer, than by going 'Leaf Peeping' in a British Sports Car.

Please see the link for further information on this great event!

Primary contact for this event will be Robert Polutnik. Robert can be reached via email at rpolutnik@technolutionsci.com
